Our Practice

We provide assist businesses in:

• Business and commercial disputes. We represent businesses as plaintiffs or defendants in a wide range of claims, including insurance disputes, construction controversies and product liability cases. • Small business formation and consultation. We work with small businesses and their accountants to identify the most effective business structure for a commercial enterprise. We then file and prepare all documents, including articles of incorporation or organization, by-laws, and tax registration forms, to set up the small business in compliance with Minnesota business laws. • Alternative forms of dispute resolution. Attorney Dave Engen is a qualified neutral and serves as a mediator or arbitrator in civil disputes. Our Experienced Attorney

A former judge advocate in the United States Air Force, attorney Dave Engen holds the rank of major in the inactive reserve. In addition, he served for 12 years on the Ethics Committee of the Hennepin County Bar Association.

A member of the American Bar Association, attorney Engen is licensed to practice in the state courts in Minnesota, North Dakota and Texas (inactive status); in the Federal District courts in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Texas; in the U. S. Courts of Appeals for the 8th and 9th Circuits; and in the Court of Military Appeals.
