For more than 40 years, I’ve built relationships with clients and helped them navigate the legal process to achieve better outcomes for their lives. As an attorney in Northwood, North Dakota, I have an opportunity not only to help the people of my hometown and beyond, I am provided the chance to make their lives better through legal assistance.
I take pride in serving my friends, family and neighbors, and I take an active approach to serving them in many capacities beyond the walls of Engel Law Firm. My interest in the community has allowed me to take on leadership positions as the City Council president and American Legion Post commander.
My legal career began in 1974 after I graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks. I had earned my undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University in 1971.
This profession has taken me to places such as Texas and Minnesota, and it taught me a lot about how to work with people who seek out my services in forming a business, setting up a will or trust, or drafting the right contract for obtaining a piece of property. I’ve settled disputes through professional, but compassionate, attention to the details that matter most.
My clients – be they small to medium business or individuals – seek my experienced legal advice from across the United States. I nurture these relationships, because they are important to me. My clients put their trust and respect in my skill, and I return it by providing open communication and legal counsel focused on finding the best possible solution for them.
If you’re faced with a legal dilemma, you need someone who will cultivate an honest relationship with your best interests in mind. Set up a consultation to me your questions.
My door is always open.
